Happy New Year!

We didn't make a lot of progress on the renovations in December 2011, between holiday preparations, visitors, and travel. We returned from a trip to meet our new neighbors: babies Eve and Belle, born on New Year's Eve day.

January has arrived with bluster, and we had to batten the hatches and re-secure the tarps, which were loose and snapping and flapping in the wind. The goose is now in charge of keeping things tied down.
